Surprised this wasn’t memeified already…
…they probably said that because the character is voiced by a Caucasian voice actor, not because the character is sometimes pushy and obnoxious. I mean, I don’t have any issues with the Avatar voice casting, but I just thought I’d put that out there.

The Tumblr comments have so far been civil,
though, in a nifty twist, have gone both ways:
“But Mado did it better, thanks to (x)!”
and “Madoka was worse, because of (y)!”
I wish all the people who fixate on the deaths of young magical girls in Madoka Magica would remember that mahou shoujo series have already featured struggle and sacrifice, power and pain, fighting and dying, for decades now. It’s not new or original. It’s not inherently fetishistic. It’s PART OF THE GENRE.

There’s no complaining here, I’ll tell you that.
I hate how Venus has three colors in her uniform when everyone else only has two.
It’s four — include the hairbow. When you count it,
The bows comprise a color-wheel set.
Perhaps her second hue was black or brown,
But that was dull, so for some extra flash
She split it up to its component colors.
